Can I take Mounjaro if I've had bariatric surgery?

I had bariatric surgery about 5 years ago now, and after initial success, the weight is slowly starting to creep back. Am I eligible to take tirzepatide? I'm hoping it can help me. Thanks!

It's not Mounjaro, but I found a study that showed that a different GLP-1 was effective for people post bariatric surgery. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/cob.12323

This is what I found on the Lilly website: There is no information on the use of tirzepatide in people who have undergone any type of weight loss surgery because patients were excluded from tirzepatide clinical trials if they had undergone gastric bypass (bariatric) surgery or restrictive bariatric surgery (for example, Lap-Band®). So although it sounds like it hasn't been studied, you can try it and see if it works for you?
